![]() It is no secret that the national media refuse to call the pro-life movement, the "pro-life" movement. As with most cultural clashes, they always choose terms favored by those on the Left, such as “Anti-choice.” But now an app has been created that will protect the tender eyes of abortion supporters from having to read the term "pro-life." Read this from the LifeNews.com story: “Abortion supporters who don't like the term ‘pro-life’ won't have to put up with it any more. An anonymous abortion advocate created a new online browsing tool that changes the term ‘pro-life’ to ‘anti-choice’ in the raw text of websites so that abortion supporters won't be confronted with language that they disagree with online. The ‘Choice Language’ program is offered as a Google extension. These extensions allow users to add special features and functions to their browser. Though the program author is anonymous, the program was supported by the National Institute for Reproductive Health Action Fund, according to Think Progress.” The author of this original article said: “I am reminded of the times that the Washington Post and New York Times kept calling my friend Richard Doerflinger the "Associate Director of Anti-Abortion Activities for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops." His actual title is "Associate Director of Pro-Life Activities." I think we should call this psychological affliction “pro-life-phobia,” an hysterical terror that one's eyes will burn as if splashed with acid when reading the dreaded term. All of this reminds me of what the Apostle Paul said: “Since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities…have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools….” Romans 1:20-22. The “fools” Paul is referring to are still among us. (Adapted from “Evolution News & Views")
