DEFINITIONS AS USED HERE:
Ministry: "Ministry" is from the Greek word diakoneo, meaning "to serve" or douleuo, meaning "to serve as a slave." In the New Testament, ministry is seen as service to God and to other people in His name. These teams are comprised of people who freely give their time and experience to further the functions of Christ's church. Ministries described here are ongoing requirements with no expected end.
Committee: A committee is a group of people appointed for a specific function. Once that function is completed, the committee will disband.
