October - December 2023 Sermons

12/31/2023 - Pastor Wally Steele begins a series that will help us better connect with God and show how to begin to use advantages that God has given in improving our lives as well as the church. In today's message he shows all three persons of the Holy Trinity expressed in the New Testament.

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct entities in Christianity.
- God the Father is the creator of the universe and the source of all life.
- God the Son, or Jesus Christ, was God in human form.
- The Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual life, power, and gifts, and works to accomplish God's purposes in the world.
- Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to be with His disciples and to indwell them after His departure. The Holy Spirit is described as the Helper, who will guide them into all truth and comfort them in their troubles.

12/24/2023 - Pastor Wally Steele presents the Christmas Service with the story of Jesus, the Messiah's, birth in Luke 2:8-20 and Pastor Steele's story of his own conversion. The Communion Message is included in this video.

12/17/2023 - Associate Pastor Bob Umbanhowar discusses the meaning of the candle on this fourth week of Advent, Love. The Messiah comes in love and righteousness. The angels filled the sky with the greatest news of love.

12/10/2023 - Pastor Wally Steele discusses the meaning of the candle on this the third week of Advent, Preparation. He explains the importance of the preparation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

He wishes to give you three things to think about as you consider preparation.
     1. Jesus is coming again!
     2. "It's like a man going away: He leaves    his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task."
     3. Keep the highway open for God to be a part of your life.

12/3/2023 - Pastor Wally Steele discusses the meaning of the second candle on this second week of Advent, Joy.

11/26/2023 - Pastor Wally Steele presents Three Lessons from Jesus.

11/19/2023 - Pastor Wally Steele presents biblical reasons to be thankful.

10 things to be thankful for:
  1. Be thankful that Jesus Christ died for our sins. He willfully suffered the full extent of God's wrath against sin that you and I may live. That is true love.
  2. Be thankful that God is in control.
  3. Be thankful for the Bible.
  4. Be thankful for God promises to provide for our needs.
  5. Thank God you don't have to work your way into Heaven.
  6. Be thankful you are new, and God is working in your life.
  7. Thank God for the trials that make us stronger.
  8. Be thankful that God hears our prayers.
  9. Be thankful God is faithful.
  10. Be thankful for your family.

​Lessons to take from the Parable of the Good Samaritan:
1. Love knows no boundary.
2. Love knows no end.
3. Love should be in the context of God's commandment.
4. Learning should have the right motivation.
5 Our love for God is reflected in our love for others.
6. Self love is not taught in the Bible.
7. Who you are is what you do.
8. Remember the weightier matters of the law.
9 Ask the right question.
10. We must love in action.

1. God takes care of the children. (Matthew 18:6)
2. Jesus is our Shepherd. (John 10:11, 14-15)
3. God is our Shepherd. (Psalm 23:1)
4. God is not willing that anyone should perish. (2 Peter 3:9)
5. There's hope for the lost. (Isaiah 53:6)
